Marathon and Cycling
Hey! Hope you are having a great time. Just made this page to say to our clients that we do offer pre and post marathon and cycling massage and to throw a little guide. We also sent out therapists to sports events where we are offering massages during the marathon or cycling event to the candidates on site immediately after they are finished. We have done few marathon and cycling events so we know what we are talking about
Just wanted to throw in a little guide as well about preparing for your big event. Most of our clients will come a day before to request something like a sports massage, deep tissue or something hard like Thai massage as a way of preparing themselves. Well, our advice is that if you were having hard massages frequently during your preparations then this is not a bad idea. The problem comes if you are not used to have these hard massages and you go for one just before your marathon. We would like to advice you that it is better to take a mild Swedish massage session for your body to relax prior the event. If one just decides to go for a hard massage out of the blue, your body will be shocked and it is most likely that you will go through your event with sore muscles. The soreness will be aggravated by your participation in your event and will talk long to heal. Your body is not a mechanical object and doesn't like surprises very much. Therefore take care of it.
